APPOINTMENT RESERVATIONS

Every appointment at The Wax Lounge is reserved exclusively for you.

As a specialist waxing clinic, appointment availability can be limited, particularly during evenings and weekends. We therefore encourage clients to book in advance to secure their preferred appointment time.

To secure your booking, a 50% booking fee is required at the time of reservation. This amount will be deducted from the cost of your treatment on the day of your appointment.


48 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY

We operate a firm 48-hour cancellation policy.

Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you provide at least 48 hours' notice.

Appointments cancelled, rescheduled or amended with less than 48 hours' notice will result in the loss of the booking fee.
This policy allows us the opportunity to offer appointment times to other clients who may be waiting for availability.


NO SHOWS

Failure to attend an appointment without notice will result in the full appointment fee becoming payable.

Any outstanding balance must be settled before future appointments can be booked.


LATE ARRIVALS

We understand that delays can occasionally happen.

If you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible.

A grace period of up to 15 minutes may be accommodated where possible. However, late arrival may result in your treatment being shortened, rescheduled or cancelled in order to avoid disrupting subsequent appointments.


HEALTH & MEDICAL INFORMATION

Your safety and wellbeing are our priority.

Please inform us at the time of booking if you:

• Are pregnant • Are taking new medication • Have recently undergone medical treatment • Have a medical condition that may affect your treatment • Have experienced any significant changes to your health since your last appointment

This information allows us to ensure your treatment is safe, appropriate and tailored to your individual needs.


CHILDREN

For health and safety, insurance requirements and the comfort of all clients, we operate a strict no-children policy within the clinic.

We kindly ask that children are not brought to appointments.


PREPARING FOR YOUR WAX

For the best possible results, hair should be approximately 1cm in length or at least three weeks' growth following shaving.

If the hair is too short, the treatment may not achieve the desired result and may need to be postponed until sufficient growth is present.


AFTERCARE

To minimise sensitivity following your treatment, we recommend avoiding the following for 24 hours:

• Hot baths and showers • Saunas and steam rooms • Swimming pools • Sunbeds and excessive sun exposure • Vigorous exercise • Heavily fragranced products on the treated area

Following your aftercare advice will help achieve the best possible results and minimise irritation.
